Desiderium
(Director of Photography)
A grieving veteran, hooked on a nostalgia-inducing drug, hunts down his daughter's killers.
After the death of his daughter, Oz, a grief stricken veteran, numbs his pain with DESIDERIUM; a potent narcotic drug designed to simulate the emotional rush of the user's most cherished moments. When Oz gets a lead to the whereabouts of his daughter's killer, he finds himself in a synth-run drug front.
Oz wants to kill the man who murdered his daughter, but is forced to confront his indulgence of the drug when he realizes it is made from humans. He chooses to destroy the operation and save the remaining test subjects, rejecting the allure of the manufactured nostalgia. Oz walks away, beginning his road to closure with a renewed sense of purpose.
